PowerShift Atlantic will be the second regional PowerShift gathering in Canada after PowerShift BC in October 2013. Bringing together hundreds of youth from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador, and beyond, we're gearing up to make this the biggest climate justice gathering the east coast have ever seen.

PowerShift Atlantic will be held in Halifax/K'jipuktuk, Mi'kmaqi Territory from March 28-30th, 2014. The majority of programming will take place at a Dalhousie University with one Keynote event and some social events off campus.

Don't have a credit card or PayPal? Register here to Pay-At-the-Door.

Registration costs cover the cost of venue rental, speaker and facilitator costs, conference overhead and more for PowerShift and are heavily subsidized by fundraising and sponsorship.

Scholarships to cover some or all of registration costs are available and we are committed to ensuring PowerShift is accessible to all regardless of financial situation. Volunteers who commit to work a minimum of 3 shifts over the weekend are eligible for waived registration fees, but are encouraged to contribute if they are able as part of every registration goes to supporting the Scholarship fund. Volunteer tasks include working the registration booth, handing out programs, giving directions and answering questions, and set up and take down of events.

If you're under 18, we require you to bring this consent form, signed by your parent(s) or legal guardian, to PowerShift Atlantic.

Is the Coalition aware of the Center for the Advancement of the Steady State Economy (CASSE)? Also known as ecological economics, the steady state economy is the alternative to neoliberal (or Keynesian) growth.

How do I transfer my registration to another individual? It says on your FAQ that it’s possible to do so.
