REGISTER FOR POWERSHIFT ALBERTA

Floods, fires, and droughts have shown the Prairies and the North that climate change is a real threat to our communities. Meanwhile job losses in the thousands have shown us that we need new economies that are built to last. As youth, we need bold new solutions, and we need to build them ourselves.

Finding those solutions will take all of us working together. At PowerShift Alberta, we will gather in Amiskwaciwâskahikan (Edmonton) in Treaty 6 Territory from April 1-3, 2016 to build a movement to seize this historic opportunity to build a better future.

The majority of programming will take place at a the University of Alberta with some social events off campus. For more information on venue check out THE SCHEDULE.

Don't have a credit card or PayPal? Register here to Pay-At-the-Door.

Bursaries to cover some or all of registration costs are available and we are committed to ensuring cost is not a barrier to attending PowerShift. Volunteers who commit to work a minimum of 2 shifts over the weekend are eligible for waived registration fees, but are encouraged to contribute if they are able as part of every registration goes to supporting the Frontline Bursary fund. Volunteer tasks include working the registration booth, handing out programs, giving directions and answering questions, and set up and take down of events - go to this page to sign up for shifts for volunteering during the weekend: http://bit.ly/1QJd3Nn.

If you're under 18, we require you to bring this consent form, signed by your parent(s) or legal guardian, to PowerShift Alberta.

PowerShift Alberta comes at a unique moment of political possibility and economic uncertainty. Will you join us to seize that moment?
